The Baldwin County Commission recognizes that grant funding provides significant resources to enhance the County’s ability to provide services and activities not otherwise available. The County seeks grant funding for projects that are determined to support County functions or that provide for services that are in the best interest of our citizens.
With the help of grant funds, the Commission has been able to provide vital services to the citizens of Baldwin County and to make major improvements to our environment and communities without depleting local funds. Some recent examples of local needs that have been met through grant funds are highlighted in our Impact Stories.
We are extremely grateful to the state and federal agencies that provide us with the financial resources needed to make Baldwin County a better place to live. (Please see Funding Sources for a complete list of our current funders).
