Personnel Director

The primary responsibility of the Personnel Director is to plan and carry out policies relating to all phases of human resources activity personally and through respective Baldwin County Department Heads. Additionally, this position provides oversight on the day-to-day operations of the Baldwin County Personnel Department; further, recruiting, interviewing and selecting new County employees to fill vacant positions, commissioned with the responsibility to prepare the Personnel Department budget and monitor fiscal year expenditures, represents the Baldwin County Commission during Baldwin County Personnel Review Committee hearings, maintains human resources records for governmental reporting purposes, provides and conducts human resources training sessions for Baldwin County Department Heads and their staff and presents oral and written presentations to the Baldwin County Commission during regular meetings and work sessions.

Andrea received her Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Huntingdon College and is certified  as a Human Resource Professional with the Alabama Association of Public Personnel Administrators (AAPPA) through Auburn University. She serves as the Past President for the Alabama Association of Public Personnel Administrators (AAPPA).
