BALDWIN COUNTY, AL, The Launch at ICW Ribbon Cutting Ceremony has officially been rescheduled for Friday, October 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. The Baldwin County Commission, Governor Kay Ivey, Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon, Senator Chris Elliot (R – SD 32), and Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Commissioner Chris Blankenship will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in celebration of the official opening of The Launch at ICW located in Orange Beach, Alabama.

Governor Ivey committed the State of Alabama to providing $10.1 million in state GOMESA funding to help bring this long-awaited project to fruition while the Baldwin County Commission committed an additional $8.1 million dollars in County GOMESA funding, and an additional $750,000 of local County funds to support the project.

The 47-acre Orange Beach property has over 1,700 feet of water frontage, six boat launches, lighted boat and car parking, six covered pavilions with picnic table seating, a grand pavilion, and over a mile of concrete sidewalks and boardwalks throughout the pavilion and launch areas.

The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. at the launch site located at 22830 Brown Lane, Orange Beach, Alabama.
