Spring Walk and Roll to School Day

Apr 24, 2025, 15:05 PM

On May 7, 2025, schools in Baldwin County are lacing up for the Annual Spring Walk! It’s more than just getting outside—it’s a celebration of healthy and safe transportation while bringing communities together through every step.

The Baldwin County Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Coalition, made up of the Baldwin County Trailblazers, Eastern Shore Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Baldwin County Commission, Legislative Delegation, and all three public school systems—is once again leading the charge. Together, we’re promoting healthier lifestyles and safer communities while reducing traffic and supporting the environment.

Whether you’re a student, parent, teacher, or community member, the Annual Spring Walk is an easy and meaningful way to be part of an event that supports well-being and connected neighborhoods. It’s a short and simple journey, schools meet at a designated spot and walk a mile or less to their school together.

Ready to take the first step? Reach out to your local school to learn more about how you can participate. Whether you walk, roll, or cheer from the sidelines, you’ll be making an impact on your community.
