The Baldwin County Commission completed 66 miles of road resurfacing and paved 3 miles of dirt roads across Baldwin County in 2025.  These annual paving efforts are critical to preserving and maintaining the County’s more than 1,400 miles of roadway infrastructure.

Each year, the Baldwin County Commission awards multiple resurfacing contracts that are supplemented by in-house paving projects performed by the Baldwin County Highway Department. This approach allows the County to address future transportation needs while continuing to maintain existing roadways.

Planning for 2026 resurfacing projects is already underway, with paving activities expected to continue throughout the year.
