Baldwin County Council on Aging Launches “Cell Phone Fridays” to Help Seniors Stay Connected

The Baldwin County Council on Aging has launched a new weekly program designed to help local seniors feel more confident using their cell phones.

Beginning this month, “Cell Phone Fridays” will be offered every Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Council on Aging office, located at 22251 Palmer Street, Robertsdale, AL 36567.

The program provides friendly, one-on-one assistance with everyday phone tasks, including:
• Making and receiving calls
• Sending text messages
• Navigating apps
• Adjusting phone settings

• And more

Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.

“Staying connected to family, friends, and important services is essential,” said Council on Aging representative. “This program gives seniors a comfortable place to ask questions and build confidence using the technology they rely on every day.”
