Baldwin County, Alabama has received confirmation of an Aa1 GOLT (General Obligation Limited Tax) rating from Moody’s Rating (Moody’s) and of an AA+ rating from Standard & Poor’s (S&P). Both ratings are the highest assigned in the High-Grade Credit Ratings scale.  

This achievement underscores the county's robust financial position due to strong local tax revenue streams derived from a growing and vibrant regional economy and conservative budgeting practices. Under the leadership of the County Commission, Baldwin County scored high in governance with solid operational and fiscal policies.
