The Baldwin County Commission Grants Department Requests Public Comments Regarding the Draft Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery Program (CDBG-DR) Local Recovery Plan (LRP)

The Draft Community Development Block Grant -Disaster Recovery Program (CDBG-DR) Local Recovery Plan (LRP) will be available for review and public comment for thirty (30) days beginning on July 19, 2024, until August 18, 2024, on the Baldwin County Commission’s Grants Department’s website. https://baldwincountyal.gov/departments/grants/cdbg-dr/baldwin-county-local-recovery-plan

The Baldwin County Commission has prepared the draft CDBG-DR LRP in response to the unmet needs from Hurricanes Sally and Zeta, which struck in 2020. Written comments may be submitted to the Baldwin County Commission’s Grants Department as follows:

Additionally, the Baldwin County Commission will host two Public Meetings regarding the Draft CDBG-DR LRP document:


1) Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Baldwin County Foley Satellite Courthouse Large Meeting Hall at 201 East Section Avenue, Foley, Alabama; and

2) Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM in the Baldwin County Commission Chambers at 322 Courthouse Square, Bay Minette, Alabama.
