Planning & Zoning Home

The Baldwin County Planning & Zoning Department was established in 1996 to oversee the County’s growth management activities. This includes administration of the County's land development regulations and management and implementation of various community development and economic development policies and programs. In addition, the department provides staff support for the Baldwin County Planning and Zoning Commission and the various Boards of Adjustment in the zoned areas.

COVID-19 Notice

The Baldwin County Planning and Zoning offices are closed for face to face transactions until further notice.  Zoning and subdivision applications are being accepted by mail, email, and by drop boxes.  If utilization of the drop boxes is desired, please contact the Planning and Subdivision staff ahead of time in order to ensure completeness of applications. You can reach us at 251-580-1655.   The drop boxes are located at the Planning and Zoning offices in Robertsdale and Foley. If utilizing the drop boxes for subdivision applications, please drop off at the Robertsdale office. 

 

All Board of Adjustment meetings and Planning Commission meetings have been cancelled until further notice.
