Mission: The Mission of the Joint EAC/EAB partnership is to provide unified template environmental ordinances for Baldwin County entities.

Goals: The Joint EAC/EAB partnership goals include the following:

Mission: The Dirt Road Sub-committees mission is to improve water quality in Baldwin County by identifying the most environmentally damaging roads and recommending best management practices to resolve the potential for water quality impacts from the roads.

Goals: To review and update the 25 Most Environmentally Damaging Dirt Roads Report every five to ten years.

Mission: Protection and Preservation of Baldwin farming heritage while balancing the economic growth and development within our community.

Goals: 

1. Seeking to achieve protection through creating landscape buffers between new construction and prime farmland.

2. Preservation to be achieved through a voluntary conservation easement program to keep prime agricultural land in production.

Mission: The Water Quality Sub-Committee’s mission is to implement the Baldwin County Commission Strategic Plan Goal that the community will experience increased transparency and accountability for watershed quality through regular testing and reporting of water quality and the ongoing development of partnerships with citizens and groups interested in the environment.

Goals: The Water Quality’s goal is to establish a County wide water quality monitoring program that will serve as a demonstration for other Counties and Cities.
