SEVERE WEATHER PREPAREDNESS TAX HOLIDAY IN BALDWIN COUNTY
BALDWIN COUNTY, AL, February 20, 2017 – The Baldwin County Commission adopted Resolution #2017-034, which allows the exemption of Baldwin County sales and use tax for certain items related to severe weather preparedness.
The Severe Weather Preparedness Tax Holiday will begin at 12:01 a.m., Friday, February 24, 2017, and continue through Midnight on Sunday, February 26, 2017.
Exempt items include those that citizens need to help them be prepared for any type of severe weather.
The Baldwin County Commission encourages every citizen to take advantage of this opportunity to gather necessary supplies to prepare for any type of severe weather.

The Baldwin County "Sales & Use Tax/License Inspection" is responsible for the collection of Sales Tax, Sellers Use Tax, Consumer Use Tax, Lease/Rental Tax, Motor Fuel Tax, Wine Tax, Video/Rental Tax and Tobacco Tax and the enforcement of the State of Alabama/Baldwin County Business Licenses.
