**2017 Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday – Consumers and Retailers:
Beginning at 12:01 (CST) on Friday, February 24, 2017 and ending twelve midnight on Sunday, February 26, 2017, Alabama will hold its sixth annual sales tax holiday giving shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain severe-weather preparedness supplies free of State sales and use tax. Baldwin County adopted Resolution No. 2017-034 to also exempt severe-weather preparedness supplies.

The Baldwin County "Sales & Use Tax/License Inspection" is responsible for the collection of Sales Tax, Sellers Use Tax, Consumer Use Tax, Lease/Rental Tax, Motor Fuel Tax, Wine Tax, Video/Rental Tax and Tobacco Tax and the enforcement of the State of Alabama/Baldwin County Business Licenses.
