So often, people wait until a disaster strikes to ask themselves, "What can I do to help?". Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency strongly encourages individuals to become become better trained to handle emergencies by offering Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training:

CERT training will:

 1. Disaster Medical Operations (First aid, triage and treatment)
 2. Fire Safety
 3. Light Search & Rescue
 4. Incident Command System (team organization)
 5. Disaster Psychology
 6. Terrorism
 
Using the training learned in the classroom and during exercises, CERT members can assist their families, neighbors, and/or co-workers following an emergency in the event professional responders are not immediately available to help.
