Partnership and consultation with local stakeholders, organizations, and the public are critical components of the LRP development process. The County has launched communications and outreach efforts to engage stakeholders and gather input that will inform housing, infrastructure, and economic revitalization programs and projects in the areas most impacted by the 2020 hurricanes.
Baldwin County will work to keep the media, community groups, local leaders, and key stakeholders informed with timely and accessible updates about local recovery planning and implementation.
In developing its Local Recovery Action Plan, Baldwin County is soliciting input from County stakeholders, County Departments and Divisions, local jurisdictions, advocacy groups and community partners to help determine the County’s remaining long-term resiliency needs and the most critical disaster mitigation needs.
A total of five community meetings will be held in different locations in the County to solicit input from stakeholders regarding unmet needs related to the 2020 hurricanes, and to identify community priorities for allocation of CDBG-DR funds.
