NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CASE NO: VAC-18-1
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Section 23-4-2 and 23-4-20 of the Code of Alabama (1975), as amended, that the Baldwin County Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Baldwin County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, 322 Courthouse Square in Bay Minette, Alabama to consider vacating Spring Mill Road (unopened) in Plantation Hills Subdivision. More particularly described as follows:
 
LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF SPRING MILL ROAD (UNOPENED) SAID RIGHT OF WAY PROPOSED TO BE VACATED
 
Begin at a 3/4” crimp top iron pipe at the Northwest corner of Lot 316 of Plantation Hills Subdivision, Unit 1, as shown on plat thereof, recorded on Slide 925-B in Probate Records, Baldwin County, Alabama; thence run North 24 degrees 34 minutes 34 seconds west a distance of 61.12 feet to a 1/2” crimp top iron pipe; thence run North 75 degrees 43 minutes 15 seconds east a distance of 124.31 feet to a 1/2” iron rebar with a cap stamped “CA604”;  thence  run Northeasterly along a non-tangent curve to the left having a radius of 25.00 feet, an arc length of 39.95 feet, a chord bearing North 29 degrees 48 minutes 15 seconds east, and a chord distance  of 35.83 feet to a 1/2" crimp top iron pipe; thence run southerly along a non-tangent curve to the right  having a radius of 1,000.00 feet, an arc length of 113.05 feet, a chord  bearing South 12 degrees 36 minutes 56 seconds east, and a chord distance of 112.99 feet to a 3/4” crimp top iron pipe; thence run Northwesterly along a non-tangent curve to the left having a radius of 25.00 feet, an arc length of 41.96 feet, a chord bearing North 56 degrees 54 minutes 05 seconds west, and a chord distance of 37.21 feet to a 1/2" iron rebar; thence run South 75 degrees 33 minutes 33 seconds west a distance of 109.84 feet to the point of beginning; said described parcel containing 0.20 acres, more or less.
Lying in Section 1, Township 5 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County, Alabama.
 
LAYMEN’S DESCRIPTION OF SPRING MILL ROAD (UNOPENED) SAID RIGHT OF WAY PROPOSED TO BE VACATED 
 
An unopened 60 foot right of way, more or less, known as Spring Mill Road right of way as shown on plat of Plantation Hills Subdivision, recorded on Map Book 11 page 26 aka Slide 925-B in the Probate Records, Baldwin County, Alabama.  Lying in Section 1, Township 5 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County, Alabama.
