NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Section 23-4-2 and 23-4-20 of the Code of Alabama (1975), as amended, that the Baldwin County Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 15th, 2020 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Baldwin County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, 322 Courthouse Square in Bay Minette, Alabama to consider vacating portions of 40’ unopened, unimproved  portion of 4th Street and 7th Avenue in First Addition to Perdido Heights Subdivision recorded in Miscellaneous Book 1, page 276 and 277. More particularly described as follows:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PORTIONS OF 4TH STREET AND 7th AVENUE SAID RIGHT OF WAY PROPOSED TO BE VACATED
 
4TH STREET - TO BE VACATED
 
BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 1, BLOCK 2, FIRST ADDITION TO PERDIDO HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, AS SHOWN ON PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN MISCELLANEOUS BOOK 1, PAGE 276 AND 277, IN THE OFFICE OF THE JUDGE OF PROBATE, BALDWIN COUNTY, ALABAMA; THENCE RUN SOUTH 52°59'09" EAST A DISTANCE OF 40.00 FEET TO A POINT AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 1 OF BLOCK 5 OF SAID SUBDIVISION; THENCE RUN SOUTH 45°51'14" WEST ALONG THE NORTHERLY LINE OF BLOCK 5 OF SAID SUBDIVISION A DISTANCE OF 200.00 FEET TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 2 OF SAID BLOCK 5; THENCE RUN NORTH 52°59'09" WEST A DISTANCE OF 40.00 FEET TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 2 OF BLOCK 2 OF SAID SUBDIVISION; THENCE RUN NORTH 45°51'15" EAST ALONG THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF BLOCK 2 OF SAID SUBDIVISION A DISTANCE OF 200.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; SAID DESCRIBED AREA CONTAINING 0.18 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, AND LYING WITHIN SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 8 SOUTH, RANGE 6 EAST, BALDWIN COUNTY, ALABAMA.

THAT PORTION OF RIGHT OF WAY OF 4TH STREET AND 7TH AVENUE ADJACENT TO LOT 4 IN BLOCK 1, LOTS 1 AND 2 IN BLOCK 2, LOTS 1, 2 AND 8 IN BLOCK 5 AND LOTS 4 AND 5 IN BLOCK 6, IN FIRST ADDITION TO PERDIDO HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION AS RECORDED IN MISCELLANEOUS BOOK 1, PAGES 276 AND 277, PROBATE RECORDS OF BALDWIN COUNTY, ALABAMA AND LYING IN SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 8 SOUTH, RANGE 6 EAST, BALDWIN COUNTY, ALABAMA.
