CASE NO: VAC-21-2

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Section 23-4-2 and 23-4-20 of the Code of Alabama (1975), as amended, that the Baldwin County Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Baldwin County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, 322 Courthouse Square in Bay Minette, Alabama to consider vacating an unopened, unimproved 20’ alley in Bryant’s Addition to Stockton, Alabama. More particularly described as follows:

 

LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF 20’ UNOPENED, UNIMPROVED ALLEY PROPOSED TO BE VACATED:

 

Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 22 of Bryant’s Addition to Stockton, Alabama recorded in Map Book 3 page 65, run in a Northeasterly direction along the West boundary of Lots 22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4 and 2 to a point at the Northwest corner of Lot 2 of said subdivision, thence run in a Westerly direction a distance of twenty (20) feet, more or less, to a point a the Northeast corner of Lot 1 of said subdivision, thence run in a Southwesterly direction along the east boundary of Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 and 21 to a point at the southern corner of triangular shaped Lot 21 of said subdivision, thence run in a Southerly direction a distance of twenty (20) feet, more or less, to the Southwest corner of Lot 22 of said subdivision, which is at the Point of Beginning, meaning and intending to describe that twenty (20) foot wide alley running generally north and south down the center and for the length of the lots of Bryant’s Addition to Stockton, Alabama, lying in Grant Section 41, Township 1 North and 1 South, Range 2 East and being in Regular Section 34, Township 1 North, Range 2 East and Regular Section 3, Township 1 South, Range 2 East

 

LAYMEN’S DESCRIPTION OF 20’ UNOPENED, UNIMPROVED ALLEY PROPOSED TO BE VACATED: 

 

A 20 foot wide alley running north and south down the center of the length of Bryant’s Addition to Stockton, Alabama, as per plat thereof recorded in Map Book 3 page 65, in Office of the Judge of Probate of Baldwin County, Alabama.
