Public Notice to discuss a proposed change to County's Community Development Block Grant No. CY-CM-PF-18-009

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Baldwin County Commission and the Perdido Bay Water and Sewer Fire Protection District will hold a public hearing on January 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at 322 Courthouse Square, Bay Minette, AL 36507 to discuss a proposed change to County’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) No. CY-CM-PF-18-009. The purpose of the project was to extend public water services to an unserved low to moderate income area just north of the intersection of County Road 93 and US Highway 98. This work has been completed. The new PVC public water main ranging in size from 3 to 8 inches and new fire hydrants have been installed in accordance with the originally proposed scope of work. The County proposes to reduce the total number of households, and the number of low to moderate income households to be hooked up to the new service. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, or disability.
