NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CASE NO: VAC-24-1
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Section 23-4-2 and 23-4-20 of the Code of Alabama (1975), as amended, that the Baldwin County Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Baldwin County Fairhope Satellite Courthouse County Commission Meeting Chambers-2nd Floor, 1100 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope, Alabama, to consider vacating a portion of a 60 foot right of way known as Rosalia Avenue. More particularly described as follows:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PORTION OF A 60 FOOT RIGHT OF WAY PROPOSED TO BE VACATED
Beginning at the intersection of the south right-of-way of County Road 99 and the north right-of-way of Rosalia Avenue; thence easterly a distance of 180 feet, more or less, to the west right-of-way of 7th Street; thence southerly a distance of 60 feet, more or less, to the south right-of-way of Rosalia Avenue; thence westerly a distance of 280 feet, more or less, to the south right-of-way of County Road 99; thence northeasterly along said right-of-way a distance of 125 feet, more or less, to the Point of Beginning, lying in Section 23, Township 7 South, Range 6 East, Baldwin County, Alabama.
LAYMEN'S DESCRIPTION OF PORTION OF A 60 FOOT RIGHT OF WAY PROPOSED TO BE VACATED
A portion of a 60 foot right-of-way from County Road 99 to 7th Street as described in Plat No. 2 of Town of Lillian in Map Book 3, page 92 aka Slide 48-A and in Map Book 1, page 128 aka Slide 66-A, as recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate, Baldwin County, Alabama and lying in Section 23, Township 7 South, Range 3 East, Baldwin County, Alabama.
