The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Public Safety Division processes all first-time issuance of Alabama Driver’s License, Boating Licenses, CDL’s, Foreign National Driver License, Non-Driver/State ID Cards, Motorcycle License, Out-of-State Transfers, Permit test, STAR ID’s and any changes to endorsements or restrictions to Alabama Driver Licenses. ALEA is an agency of the State of Alabama that has offices located inside Baldwin County Satellite Courthouse facilities.

The Judge of Probate Licensing Division, also has offices located inside Baldwin County Satellite Courthouse Facilities, processes renewals or replacements of Valid Alabama Driver Licenses ONLY. Any changes to endorsements or restrictions are required to be processed by an officer with ALEA.
