NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Section 23-4-2 and 23-4-20 of the Code of Alabama (1975), as amended, that the Baldwin County Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Baldwin County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, 322 Courthouse Square in Bay Minette, Alabama to consider vacating the prescriptive portion of Bruce Beveridge Road from just west of State Route 59 to State Route 225 and that paved portion of Bruce Beveridge Road aka County Road 21 aka Live Oak Road running northwesterly to the south right-of-way line of Interstate 65. More particularly described as follows:
 
LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PRESCRIPTIVE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF BRUCE BEVERIDGE ROAD PROPOSED TO BE VACATED
                                               
Commencing at the intersection of the west right-of-way line of State Route 59 and the south right-of-way line of Bruce Beveridge Road;  thence run southwesterly along the south right-of-way of Bruce Beveridge Road a distance of 1,700 feet, more or less, to a point in the center of a dirt road and being the Point of Beginning of the prescriptive right-of- way herein described; thence run southwesterly along the center line of the prescriptive right-of-way a distance of 12,760 feet, more or less, to a point ending at the east right-of-way line of State Route 225.  Said line being the center line of the prescriptive property to be vacated and lying in Grant Section 45, Township 1 South, Range 2 East and being in Regular Section 26, Township 1 South, Range 2 East; Grant Section 47, Township 1 South, Range 2 East and being in Regular Section 24, Township 1 South, Range 2 East; Section 25, Township 1 South, Range 2 East; Section 26, Township 1 South, Range 2 East; Section 27, Township 1 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County, Alabama.

All that portion of Bruce Beveridge Road prescriptive right of way running east to west, from the south right-of-way line of the paved portion of Bruce Beveridge Road, said point being 1,700 feet, more or less, west of State Route 59; thence run westerly to the east right-of-way line of State Route 225, and lying in Grant Section 45, Township 1 South, Range 2 East and being in Regular Section 26, Township 1 South, Range 2 East; Grant Section 47, Township 1 South, Range 2 East and being in Regular Section 24, Township 1 South, Range 2 East; Section 25, Township 1 South, Range 2 East; Section 26, Township 1 South, Range 2 East; Section 27, Township 1 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County, Alabama.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF BRUCE BEVERIDGE ROAD AKA COUNTY ROAD 21 AKA LIVE OAK ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY PROPOSED TO BE VACATED
                                                                    
Commencing at the intersection of the west right-of-way line of State Route 59 and the south right-of-way line of Bruce Beveridge Road and being the Point of Beginning of the property herein described; thence run southwesterly along the center right-of-way of Bruce Beveridge Road a distance of 1,700 feet, more or less, to a point in the center of a dirt road; thence run northwesterly along the south right-of-way line of Bruce Beveridge Road also known as County Road 21 and also known as Live Oak Road a distance of 5,700 feet, more or less, to a point on the south right-of-way line of Interstate 65;  thence run easterly along the south right-of-way line of Interstate 65 a distance of 80 feet, more or less, to a point on the east right-of-way line of Bruce Beveridge Road; thence run southeasterly along the east right-of-way a distance of 5,620, more or less, to a point; thence run northeasterly along the north right-of-way line a distance of 1,700 feet, more or less, to the west right-of-way line of State Route 59; thence run southerly along the west right-of-way line a distance of 80 feet, more or less, to the Point of Beginning of property to be vacated and lying in Regular Section 19, Township 1 South, Range 3 East and Grant Section 47, Township 1 South, Range 2 East and being in Regular Section 24, Township 1 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County Alabama.

All that portion of Bruce Beveridge Road right-of-way, running southwesterly from the west right-of-way line of State Route 59 a distance of 1,700 feet, more or less, thence northwesterly along that portion of right-of-way also known as County Road 21 and Live Oak Road a distance of 5,700 feet, more or less, to the south right-of-way line of Interstate 65.  Said right-of-way being recorded in Deed Book 254, page 331, and portions of right-of-way in Deed Book 254, page 286 and Deed Book 254, page 301 in the Probate Records of Baldwin County, Alabama, lying in Regular Section 19, Township 1 South, Range 3 East and Grant Section 47, Township 1 South, Range 2 East and being in Regular Section 24, Township 1 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County Alabama.
