NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Section 23-4-2 and 23-4-20 of the Code of Alabama (1975), as amended, that the Baldwin County Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Baldwin County Fairhope Satellite Courthouse County Commission Meeting Chambers-2nd Floor, 1100 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope, Alabama, to consider vacating a portion of a 40 foot right of way known as Bayview Drive. More particularly described as follows:

LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PORTION OF A 40 FOOT RIGHT OF WAY PROPOSED TO BE VACATED
 
Commence at a (CA 1165) #4 rebar being the Southwest corner of Lot 3 of Hoover Subdivision as recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Baldwin County, Alabama in Slide 120-A, being the Point of Beginning ; thence along the current North right of way of Bayview Drive N 81 °42'37" Ea distance of 97.21 feet to a (CA 1165) #4 rebar, being the Southeast corner of Lot 3 of the aforementioned Hoover Subdivision; thence S 00°00'43" Ea distance of 40.42 feet to a ¾" crimp lying on the current South right of way of Bayview Drive and being the Northeast corner of Lot 35 of the aforementioned Hoover Subdivision; thence along said South right of way S 81 °34'20" a distance of 98.69 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 34 of the aforementioned Hoover Subdivision; thence N 01 °59'08" Ea distance of 40.89 feet to the Point of Beginning.

A portion of Bayview Drive adjacent to Lots 2, 3, 34 and 35 of Hoover Subdivision as recorded in Map Book 3, page 41, aka Slide 120-A, Probate Office of Baldwin County, Alabama and lying in Section 22, Township 9 South, Range 2 East.
