Amendments to the Baldwin County Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Baldwin County Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Baldwin County Fairhope Satellite Courthouse, County Commission Meeting Chambers - 2^nd Floor, 1100 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope, Alabama.

The purpose of this hearing, in accordance with Sections 41-9-165, 41-9-166, 11-19-1, et seq. of the Code of Alabama, 1975, and other applicable laws, is to receive input on the proposed amendments to the Baldwin County Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance adopted by the Baldwin County Commission.

On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, the Baldwin County Commission, in a regular meeting assembled beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Baldwin County Fairhope Satellite Courthouse, County Commission Meeting Chambers, 2^nd Floor, 1100 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope, Alabama, will vote to adopt or deny the proposed amendments to the Baldwin County Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance which also includes renaming the ordinance to “Floodplain Development Ordinance".

Copies of the proposed amendments are available for public review at the following Baldwin County Building Department office locations during regular office hours: 201 E. Section St., Foley, AL or 22251 Palmer St., Robertsdale, AL.
