Permit/Learners License are issued by the Public Safety Division of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA)
- Study for your test using the Alabama Driver License Manual.

NOTE: Applicants under the age of 19 must provide proof of graduation or school enrollment. If you are currently attending school, most schools will have ALEA form DL-93 that can be completed for you.
