Act No. 609 (Acts of Alabama, 1901; Page 1446)
Provides for the support of public schools in Baldwin County. Provides that 2 mills of county tax levy shall be paid to school board. (Amended by Act No. 89-482, page 1012).
Act No. 643 (Acts of Alabama, 1931; Page 303)
Relieves the Assessor from preparing books of assessment and allows an alphabetical list of assessments in lieu of books. (Code Section 40-7-33)

Provides for a forestry tax not to exceed $.10 per acre, for assessments greater than five acres.
Act No. 87-268 (Acts of Alabama; Page 374)
Provides for a 2 mill hospital tax in precincts 1-7, for a period of twenty years beginning October 1, 1987. Constitutional Amendment 471, ratified August 10, 1987. Twenty years beginning October 1, 1987.
Act No. 87-818 (Acts of Alabama; Page 1640)
Provides for zoning districts and a levy at $10.00 per parcel for a maximum of two consecutive years. Assessed by Commission collected by collector, 1989 & 1990.
Act No. 89-482 (Acts of Alabama; Page 1012)
Amends Act No. 6090, Local Acts of Alabama 1901. School system gives up 2 mill ad valorem tax so long as County levies sales tax for schools. Thus, county gets 2 mills.
Act No. 90-449 (Acts of Alabama; Page 634)
Provides for 1 & 1/2 mill tax for fire departments. Refined 7-11-90.
