The Baldwin County Highway Department Permit Division was created in May of 2006 to oversee subdivision development and to enforce the Baldwin County Subdivision Regulations. Currently, the scope of the department has been expanded to include approval of all commercial turnout permits, turn lane permits, utility permits, and license/maintenance agreements. We are also responsible for processing all Highway Setback Appeal requests, and Adopt-A-Mile requests.
